Privacy notice

Who this notice covers
RawCgi publishes CurvEngine. Contact rawcgi@outlook.com about privacy. This notice covers the CurvEngine app, its product and download pages, and product support. Other RawCgi products and external services may have their own notices.
Your images stay on your computer
CurvEngine processes images, HDR panoramas, depth inference, and projects locally. Licensing requests do not upload your images or projects. Your files remain in their local locations unless you choose to share them, for example by email for support or through a storage service you use.
Activation and local records
Activation sends your license key and Windows computer name to Dodo Payments. Deactivation sends the key and activation-instance identifier. The service also receives the connecting IP address and associated network information. A derived Windows computer identifier is used locally and is not included in the current activation or deactivation requests. Local trial records hold that identifier, trial dates and most recent recorded use. Local activation records hold the key, product and environment information, computer identifier and activation-instance status. These support license checks, transfers and offline use.
Protection and uninstall
License records are protected in the Windows user profile, with a registry mirror of trial information. The app uses Windows data protection with a local encryption fallback if that mechanism is unavailable. These measures do not guarantee protection against someone controlling your account or computer. Normal uninstall preserves licensing records. Deleting local records does not cancel the purchase or release the remote activation slot. Contact support if you need help reactivating.
Purchases
Dodo Payments acts as merchant of record for checkout. It handles relevant billing, contact, transaction and payment information for payment, tax, fraud prevention, receipts and disputes. It acts as an independent controller for buyer transactions. RawCgi may access customer, purchase and licensing information through its merchant service to provide the product and support. Card details are not entered into CurvEngine’s License window.
Website visits, downloads and browser storage
Cloudflare supplies website and download infrastructure. Requests expose technical information such as IP address, requested URL, time and browser headers for delivery and security. Technical records may be available through that service depending on configuration. The supplied CurvEngine page uses self-hosted screenshots and a video; its page code contains no advertising scripts, analytics tags, newsletter form, or cookies/local-storage calls. This does not mean that hosting, security, or checkout services process no information or set no cookies. Those services have their own notices. External checkout and social sites receive information when you visit them.
Other website forms
The RAW Sequencer trial page has a separate email request form. If you use it, the website sends the entered email address and a trial-page source label to the RawCgi trial-download service to request trial delivery. CurvEngine’s direct installer download does not require that form. Do not send information through another product’s form unless you intend to use that service.
Support
If you email us, we receive your address, message and any files, screenshots, logs or order information you choose to send. We use these to answer questions, investigate issues and provide licensing help. Email providers also process correspondence. Send only relevant information; do not send payment-card details, passwords or unrelated client material.
Purposes and legal bases
Relevant information is used to deliver purchases, manage licensing, provide support, protect the service, keep necessary records and meet legal obligations. Where applicable, processing relies on performing a contract, legitimate interests in support and security subject to your rights, or legal obligations. Optional uses requiring consent must obtain it separately; buying a license is not blanket consent to unrelated marketing.
Recipients and international processing
Relevant information may be handled by our payment, hosting and email providers, professional advisers or authorities where needed for those purposes or required by law. Providers can process information outside your country. Their applicable agreements and privacy notices describe their responsibilities and transfer arrangements. Contact us for information relevant to your request; this notice does not claim certification under a particular transfer framework.
Retention and security
Local records stay on your computer until removed or replaced. RawCgi keeps support and purchase-related information for as long as reasonably needed for the license relationship, open support matters, disputes or legally required recordkeeping. Provider retention follows their applicable policies. Contact us about access or deletion; some information may need to be retained for legal obligations or an ongoing dispute. We use available safeguards, but no storage or transmission method is completely secure. Keep license keys private.
Your rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, or object to certain processing. You may withdraw consent where processing relies on it and complain to the relevant data-protection authority. Email rawcgi@outlook.com; proportionate identity verification may be needed. Declining information required for a purchase or activation may prevent that action. Dodo handles requests about data it independently controls; we can help direct a request.
